Friday 19th February (Tony Iommi’s birthday)
The Heart, 28 Grange Road, Aston, B6 6LA.
8 – 11.20pm.
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support and Wythall Animal Sanctuary as nominated by Tony Iommi.
The Quiz
A fun general knowledge (popular culture, national/global events) quiz with questions focusing on the period 1948-1970 when the lads were growing up in Aston. You don’t need to be a Black Sabbath expert to enjoy it. And it will be fun. The questions will be road tested at a ‘warm up gig’ (Secret Sabbathology) and with a few exceptions to make it competitive, have been written with a view to raising some smiles.
Teams of up to five people. Entry is included in the ticket price.
First Prize – A bespoke Crossroads of Sabbath tour for up to eight people to take place before the end of the year.
Second Prize – Five places on an advertised Crossroads of Sabbath tour.
Third Prize – Five ‘Proud to be a Brummie’ diaries
Best Team name prize – TBC
The Trophy will be engraved with the winning team name and go forward to future events. In 2017 the trophy will be sent to Lincoln Park, Detroit to arrive back in Brum during 2018.
